Introductions

Hi, thanks for checking out my blog. The idea behind this is to share some of the experiences and thoughts I have during my work as the manager of the Leeds Bioimaging and Flow Cytometry Facility (LBFF) at the University of Leeds. To let you know recent news, some of the ideas and concepts I get exposed to and maybe reach out for some ideas from you guys. I thought it might be useful to discuss recent advances or resources that come online or are presented at conferences and meetings.

I've called it Cytometry@Leeds in reference to the study of cells, in this case with microscopes and flow cytometry. I hope that is OK with people.

Additionally, I'd be glad to hear from the community. What probelms are you experiencing with the systems? Are you coming up with some experimental ideas that maybe you think would be good to share with people. Maybe even give me a hand with solving other user's problems! Let me know if you want more things from our systems; let me know what would be useful technology for your research, we're constantly on the lookout for what you guys want - maybe we can get some systems in to try out!

Anyway, that's the lot for now. With a bit of luck I'll try and update these blogs on a regular basis!
